SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2025 – 5 PM

You Can Honor a Loved One and Help The American Cancer Society Light the Way to a Cure!
The Annual American Cancer Society Pittsburgh Tribute of Light Ceremony will begin Saturday, November 22nd as part of our Lighting Spectacular! The UPMC Rink at PPG Place will glow with donated Tributes until Sunday, November 23rd.
Show your support for those currently battling cancer or honor the memory of loved ones lost to the disease by making a donation to purchase a Tribute today.

4:35 PM: Welcoming Remarks

4:45 PM: LED baton twirling performance by Natalie’s School of Champions

5:30 PM: RMU Island Sports Ice Figure Skating Show

5:45 PM: American Cancer Society Tribute of Light Celebration starts with a live performance by Olivia Sperber.

5:50 PM: Live interview with the Honoree

6 PM: The UPMC Ultimate Holiday Tree Experience and Tree Lighting by ACS Honoree

6:10 PM: Open Skate on the UPMC Rink at PPG were $1 will be donated to the mission for each admission on the night.

SKATE WITH SANTA

SUNDAYS, DECEMBER 7, 14, 21, 2025 – 1 PM – 3 PM

On Sunday December 7th, 14th and 2st, you can skate with Santa.  Santa will be taking a little break from all his Christmas prep work at the North Pole to come and skate with those at the rink from 1 pm to 3 pm.  Come and skate and get your picture taken with old St. Nick!  Just buy tickets for the 12pm – 1:45 pm; 1 pm – 2:45 pm or 2 pm – 3:45 pm sessions and make sure you’re here between 1 pm – 3 pm and you see Santa!

 

 

PRINCESS AND PRINCE SKATE

SUNDAY, JANUARY 25, 2026 – 1 PM – 3 PM

On Sunday, January 25th, with a touch of pixie dust and some fairy tale magic, the UPMC Rink at PPG Place will transport young families to a magical kingdom where fairy tales come alive. Fairy tale princesses, inspired by much beloved films and legendary stories, will skate and glide alongside families and friends. Young princes and princesses of all ages are invited to join along in the annual “Princess and Prince Skate” at the UPMC Rink at PPG Place for a magical afternoon of skating alongside character favorites. Enjoy even more magic this time of year with seasonal lights, music and Princesses at the UPMC Rink at PPG Place.

 SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2026 – 5 PM – 11 PM

Join is for an enchanted evening of skating with your sweetheart under the starts at the UPMC Rink at PPG Place.  With the PPG buildings surrounding the plaza, you can skate hand in hand in the cool night air.   Gliding along with a loving tune playing you as you make some magical romantic memories in this charmed setting.
