Tickets for the 2026-2027 season can again be purchased online and pre-paid to guarantee your date and entry time slot and to avoid waiting in long lines.  Walk up in person sales will also be available, however, long waits can occur for walk up admission on busy dates.   Waiting can be avoided if advance tickets are pre-purchased online.

Online advance ticket sales for this season will be live starting October 1, 2026.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.  All pre-paid tickets are only available here:

ADMISSION

Adults (ages 13-49): $9-$12
Children (through age 12): $8-$11
Seniors (ages 50 and up): $8-$11
Military (with ID): $8-$11
First Responders (with ID): $8-$11
Skate Rental: $4-$6 (Sizes 9 Jr to 15 adult)

Groups of 10 or more can get a group discount by making an advance online ticket purchase only. There are no group discounts available for walk-ins. Group prices range from $6-$10 per person*

Note: An online ticketing fee will be added to each online ticket purchase.

Lockers available (one time use, self-service): $1.00

*Group rates are not available from December 18, 2026 – January 3, 2027.

 

PRO SHOP SERVICES

Skate sharpening is available in the skate rental office for $10 per pair. Coin operated lockers are available during your skate for PPG Ice Skating Rink customers only, available on a first-come, first-served basis. We also offer skate laces, gloves and hats. Gift certificates are available in person or online. Bottled drinks and snacks are also available.

The UPMC Rink at PPG Place reserves the right to interrupt skating sessions for Zamboni ice resurfacing and/or skating events. Skating times are subject to change without notice.

 

ICE SKATING SESSIONS:

Pre-paid online tickets and in person walkup admissions are all ticketed in 1 hour and 45 minute long sessions. Sessions times for the Holiday and Peak Holiday Hours (11/14/25 – 01/04/26) are listed below:

Fun Place to Skate!

PPG Rink is a fun place to skate. Great location near Market Square with plenty of places to get a coffee before skating and lunch or dinner after skating. Staff inside are pleasant and very helpful. Rink Guards are also very attentive and just let you have a good time skating.

Will Definitely Go Again!

I went with my family (husband and two kids 8, 10). My husband and I had never been ice skating before. We had a lot of fun. The process of booking tickets/getting skates was easy. If we’re ever in Pittsburgh again in the winter, we would definitely go again

Super Cute for the Holidays!

Super cute for the holidays, we go every year around Christmas time. It can definitely get busy so I recommend purchasing a ticket to ice skate ahead of time online, it’s easy to do so and they provide a barcode to be scanned. Close to many restaurants/ shopping within walking distance

Beautiful Place!

A beautiful place during the most wonderful time of the year! Nicholas Coffee & tea right around the corner. A great holiday experience! The city is decorated so nicely. The staff at PPG Place are friendly & helpful.
